Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Manoj Achari (referred to as "I" or "me"), an individual, who acts as the data controller for the personal data described here. For any question about your data or this policy, contact me at manojacharimanages@gmail.com.

I collect personal data only when you choose to give it to me:

• Access requests for confidential projects: your name, company, position, and email address.
• Contact form messages: your name, email address, and the message you send.
• Technical data: your IP address is processed transiently to apply rate limiting and to verify an anti bot challenge. It is not stored with your request.

I do not use advertising cookies or sell your data. A secure cookie is set only after you unlock a confidential project, so your access is remembered on that browser. Separately, I use analytics that may set cookies to understand how the site is used, as described below.

I use two analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the site, so I can improve it:

• Vercel Analytics: privacy friendly and cookieless. It records aggregate page views and traffic without setting cookies or tracking you across sites.
• Google Analytics 4: provided by Google, this uses cookies and processes data such as your IP address, device, browser, and the pages you visit to produce aggregate usage statistics. Data is processed by Google as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, and may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. I have IP anonymisation enabled and do not use the data to identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's opt out browser add on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

I use your details to review and respond to your access request, to grant access to the specific email address you provide if approved, and to reply to messages you send me. The legal basis for processing your access request and contact details is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting me.

Access request and grant records are stored in a database hosted by Supabase. Emails (the request notification to me, and any approval link to you) are delivered through Resend. Both are third party processors acting on my instructions. The site is hosted by Vercel, which also provides the cookieless analytics noted above, and Google Analytics is provided by Google. Your data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States, with appropriate safeguards in place.

I keep your details while your access is active and delete them within 12 months after access is revoked or expires. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. You can ask me to delete your data sooner at any time.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email me at manojacharimanages@gmail.com.

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you the right to receive notice of how your data is used, to access a summary of the data I hold about you, to correct or complete it, to have it erased when it is no longer needed, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights. You also have the right to raise a grievance.
